Taron Margaryan named best Yerevan mayorDecember 27, 2012 - 19:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The public opinion poll conducted by Sociometer sociological center has named Taron Margaryan the best mayor of Yerevan in the past 20 years, Armenian sociologist said. “He received 63,8% votes, followed by Yervand Zakaryan (15%), Karen Karapetyan (8,8%), Gagik Beglaryan (6%) and Albert Bazeyan (2,6%),” Aharon Adibekyan said. “The poll aimed to reveal Yerevan residents’ attitude to the reforms implemented,” he said, adding that the polls revealed that Mayor Margaryan had the greatest contribution to the city’s reform implementation in the past 20 years. The poll was conducted in December, with 1160Yerevan residents interviewed.
