The Dark Knight Rises director has praised Zack Snyder's take on Superman, calling him "the perfect man to take this on". "In my honest appraisal, taking on Superman and creating that world is far more difficult than creating the world of the Dark Knight," Nolan told The Hollywood Reporter, Digital Spy said. "[Snyder] has a lot of finishing to do on the movie - it has a very long post-production schedule because, unlike Batman, Superman flies." Nolan, who is serving as a producer on Man of Steel, highlighted Snyder's ability to create a "coherent, cohesive world", citing 300 and Watchmen. He has previously promised that Man of Steel will make Superman "relatable" and "relevant" again.
