"Java Heat" actioner trailer features Kellan Lutz, Mickey Rourke (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kellan Lutz and Mickey Rourke wreak havoc in Indonesia in the first international trailer for their actioner "Java Heat". Set in the country's most crowded land, Java, the footage is fully-loaded with tons of brutal actions done by the "Twilight Saga" star and the Oscar-nominated "The Wrestler" actor, AceShowbiz said.

Some points of the trailer highlight Lutz as he deals with suicide bombers and goes brutal when fighting against local thugs. Rourke, channeling his signature villainous persona, is also seen threatening people with his merciless behavior. In between the brutal scenes, gorgeous landscape of Java is also showcased.

Lutz plays a mysterious American who teams with a Muslim cop to hunt down a dangerous international jewel thief (Rourke) who kidnaps a Sultan's daughter in a plot to steal the royal treasury. The treasury include exotic intrigue amid ancient palaces, mosques, temples, subterranean labyrinths and stone pyramids in the heart of Java.

  1. "Java Heat" is directed by Conor Allyn, who also co-writes and co-produces the movie alongside Rob Allyn. The movie will be released in the U.S. April 18.
