ARMENIANS OF ESTONIA WILL CELEBRATE VARDAVAR HOLIDAY JULY 10
July 10 Armenians, who live in Estonia, will celebrate one of the more spread Armenian national holidays - Vardavar. As reported by Baltic Armenian House NGO, members of the Armenian communities of Estonia will arrive for the festivities. A locality next to Kohtla-Jarve town is selected as the holiday venue. Organization of the wide-scale event was possible owing to the assistance of Estonian entrepreneurs of Armenians origin and private persons. As reported by the source, the organization of the measure is merit of priest of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Estonia father Garnik. "The holiday aims at providing an opportunity to Armenians of Estonia to feel linked with the fatherland and not to forget national traditions. It is also brilliant opportunity for communities of different regions to get in touch," father Garnik said.
