Georgia’s avoiding deals with Russia affects Armenia – RPA rep.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will greatly benefit from Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili's visit, a member of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) said.

“So far, Georgia has been trying to avoid any transactions with Russia, which, in turn, negatively affected further development of ties with Armenia,” Gagik Minasyan told a January 16 news conference.

The MP further hailed the new policy line of Georgian leadership, with Ivanishvili's visit to open a new page in Georgia-Armenia ties.

Georgian Prime Minister's visit to Armenia is slated for January 17.
