During the meeting with the members of the Turkish-German Journalist Club Vice-Chairman of German CDU Ingo Friedrich stated that presently Turkey's chance for the EU membership is rather poor. In his words, there are no problems with Turkey's accession to the EU, however the issue should be thoroughly discussed. He added that the offer of privileged partnership is more appropriate for Turkey.
