GRENADE THROWN ON BUSH NOT PRODUCED IN ARMENIA
The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia denies foreign media reports that the grenade thrown in the direction of the Georgian and US Presidents in Tbilisi May 10 was not produced in Armenia. This was reported by Press Secretary of the Armenian MOD, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan. In his words, the grenade could not be produced in Armenia, as "no grenades are currently produced in Armenia." According to other data, grenades were produced in Armenia in mid-90s, however the production was ceased later, as it was not profitable and demanded much technical expenses, reported RFE/RL.
