  Russian Defense Minister arrives in Armenia January 28, 2013 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 28, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu started a 3-day official visit to Armenia and Kazakhstan. Meetings with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan are on Russian minister’s agenda. As Minister’s spokesperson Darya Zatulina noted, the current stage and prospects of military and technical cooperation will be discussed. Visit to 102 Gyumri-based Russian military base will also be on agenda, with combat readiness, terms of service and military lifestyle to be discussed, RIA Novosti reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
