Candidate Bagratyan offers Hayrikyan to delay campaign

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian presidential hopeful Paruyr Hayrikyan’s life in not in danger, candidate Hrant Bagratyan posted on Facebook.

“Hayrikyan’s condition was assessed as normal after the operation. We even managed to exchange ideas on the further course of the campaign. I offered candidate Hayrikyan to delay the campaign until his full recovery. Constitution stipulates for a 2-week delay in presidential poll in case insurmountable difficulties prevent one of the candidates from running for the post,” the post reads.

On late Thursday, January 31, Hayrkyan was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
