Candidate Hovannisian briefs voters on campaign program

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian presidential hopeful, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian briefed the voters on his campaign program envisaging 10 % economic growth, poverty reduction, etc.

“The national budget will be replenished with AMD 300 bln, with growth of pension pay and spending in education, health care and defense sectors to be recorded. The program also envisages anti-corruption measures,” candidate Hovannisian said, adding that he will hold meetings with NKR President Bako Sahakyan and soldiers on Feb 7.

He further stressed the need for Artsakh Republic to be recognized by both Armenia and international community.

Dwelling on rumors suggesting his election will harm Armenian-Russian relations, the candidate voiced confidence that ties will Moscow will reach the peak of development during his term in office.

Mr Hovannisian underscored the role of respect in international relations and development of defense sector.
