ARMENIAN FM MET WITH OSCE CHAIRMAN-IN-OFFICE
Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA> In the course of the meeting the parties exchanged views over the current stage of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The Armenian FM hailed the interest of the Slovenian chairmanship and the OSCE Troika in the South Caucasus, as well as the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. V. Oskanian detailed D. Rupel on the outcomes of the Kazan meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Besides, the interlocutors discussed matters of OSCE reform, constitutional reforms in Armenia and the referendum scheduled this autumn. In his turn D. Rupel expressed readiness of the OSCE chairmanship to continue efforts to settle the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He also specially emphasized the efficient cooperation of Armenia and OSCE Office in Yerevan in various fields. In the course of his visit to Armenia D. Rupel is accompanied by representatives of the OSCE Troika - Bulgaria and Belgium, supreme officials of the Slovenian MFA, as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. Rupel will meet with Armenian President R. Kocharian, PM Andranik Margaryan, as well as representatives of NGOs in Yerevan.
