VivaCell-MTS to allocate AMD 1.204bln to culture ministryFebruary 12, 2013 - 15:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS will allocate AMD 1.204 bln to Armenian Ministry of Culture, the company’s CEO Ralph Yirikian said. “Our cooperation with the ministry of culture goes back to 2005. We attach special importance to the field, trying to foster its development,” he said. Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, in turn, noted VivaCell-MTS as a good example for other sponsors supporting the ministry. Dwelling on the planned programs, Minister Poghosyan said that Sayat-Nova musical will be included in Sundukyan State Academic Theatre’s program, with an event dedicated to famed composer Aram Khachaturian’s 100 birth anniversary to be held. It’s noteworthy that VivaCell-MTS has allocated about AMD 6.5 bln for the implementation of cultural programs, with AMD 952.8 mln allotted in 2012.
