MATVIENKO: WORLD SHOULD CONDEMN OUTRAGEOUS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY - ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
The Saint Petersburg delegation headed by Governor Valentina Matvienko visited today the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims and laid a wreath to the Eternal Fire. V. Matvienko also made a note in the museum of the Armenian Genocide. The note says in part, "We are shocked by this outrageous crime against humanity, which is known in history as the Armenian Genocide. There can be no pardon for those, who committed this crime. The whole world should condemn these murderous deeds." The Governor also planted a fir-tree at the Memory Alley.
