“Day of silence” ahead of election day in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - February 17 has been declared as a “day of silence” on the eve of presidential polls in Armenia, with media or other types of promotion disallowed.

The 6th presidential elections in Armenia are due February 18, 8 am to 8 pm local time.

1988 polling stations will be operating across Armenia, with total number of voters estimated at 2,5 million. According to Armenian legislation, February 18 was announced a non-working day.
