Bestselling author Bill O'Reilly to write "Killing Jesus: A History"February 21, 2013 - 18:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Bill O'Reilly, the Fox News anchor and author, has signed to write Killing Jesus: A History, as a follow-up to his best-selling books Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot and Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever, The Hollywood Reporter said. The book will be published Sept. 24 by Henry Holt and Co. Martin Dugard, O'Reilly's co-author on the Kennedy and Lincoln books, also will serve as co-author on this project. In Killing Jesus, O'Reilly "will recount the seismic political and historical events" that made the death of the "beloved and controversial young revolutionary" known as Jesus of Nazareth inevitable. O'Reilly's previous two Killing books have been huge best-sellers, with more than 3.2 million copies of Killing Lincoln in print and 2.4 million copies of Killing Kennedy. Killing Lincoln, published in 2011, has spent 73 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list and Killing Kennedy, published in 2012, has spent 20 weeks. A TV version of Killing Lincoln aired Feb. 17 on National Geographic, drawing record ratings for the channel. O'Reilly is best known as the longtime host of the Fox News program The O'Reilly Factor.
