CEC refuses to announce Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy invalid February 25, 2013 - 15:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Central Election Commission of Armenia (CEC) rejected Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian’s authorized representative Armen Martirosyan’s appeal to announce Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy invalid. According to Martirosyan, the candidate didn’t follow the election campaign organization order. “1600 election headquarters were set up for the conduction of Serzh Sargsayn election campaign, with 1600 posters distributed. Rental costs and propaganda posters that exceeded the permissible AMD 100 mln were not included in the declaration Serzh Sargsayn submitted to the CEC,” Martirosyan’s statement reads. Mr. Hovannisian’s authorized representative urged to announce Serrzh Sargsayn’s candidacy invalid.
