Parliament speaker advises Hovannisian make better use of votesFebruary 27, 2013 - 16:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The parliament speaker advised the runner-up in Armenia’s presidential elections, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian to make better use of his votes. Commenting on rallies organized by Hovannisian, Hovik Abrahamyan noted that no one in the country will benefit from violence. “However, we cannot allow illegal rallies. Law enforcement agencies must act adequately, urging everyone against violating the law,” he noted. Abrahamyan further slammed Hovannisian’s position as groundless. “If Hovannisian insists that the votes were rigged, why did the representatives of the election committee from Heritage sign the protocols?” In conclusion, the parliament speaker called Hovannisian to agree to negotiate the situation and focus on implementation of reforms in the country.
