OSKANIAN: ATMOSPHERE FAVORABLE FOR SETTLING KARABAKH ISSUE

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The OSCE MG Co-Chairs have not informed official Yerevan on the outcomes of the Vienna meeting held September 27 yet," stated Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian when asked a question on the expected progress in the Karabakh settlement in the course of a press conference in Yerevan today. He reported that settlement matters were discussed in the course of his meeting with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie. In his words, the parties agreed that "a favorable atmosphere is formed for solving the issue at present and efforts to that end should be activated after the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan."
