Gianni Buquicchio: revised constitution would facilitate Armenia's integration into European structures.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Venice Commission Secretary Gianni Buquicchio expressed hope that Armenians will approve amendments to their constitution. "The revised constitution would facilitate Armenia's integration into the European structures. It would also facilitate the prosperity, stability and the resolution of socioeconomic problems facing this country. That is why I personally think it important for the Armenians to reflect on, study the issue and vote for this constitution in accordance with their own conscience," Mr. Buquicchio stated at the round table held in the RA National Assembly with the participation of parliamentary and extra-parliamentary Armenian political forces, representatives of international organizations, Chairman of the Russian Constitutional Court Vasiliy Zorkin and other political figures.
