OSCE/ODHIR mission thanks Police chief for assistance during polls

PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of OSCE/ODHIR Election Observation Mission Heidi Tagliavini issued a letter to the head of Armenian Police, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan, thanking him for the assistance to the work of the mission.

“On behalf of the OSCE/ODHIR EOM I convey my sincere gratitude to you and the leading staff of the Armenian State Police including Regional Police Directors for the support given to the OSCE/ODHIR Election Observation Mission during the recent presidential elections.

We highly appreciate the good cooperation with the offices of your institutions, and are especially grateful to you for having found the time to meet with us in person. This gave is the opportunity to discus post-electoral developments and the best ways to handle them,” Ms Tagliavini said in her letter.
