Thus we should find courage and strength and sit down at the negotiating table to discuss and find efficient ways to solve these issues. The NATO PA and international organizations may play an important role in this respect,» stated Armenian Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan at the Rose-Roth seminar of the NA of Armenia and the NATO PA. The Armenian Speaker is sure that efficient conclusions will be made as a result of the seminar. «In my opinion, democracy is the shortest and most efficient way to withstand any political challenges in our region. I believe the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) is of huge importance,» he remarked. Strengthening of democratic reforms and cooperation with the Alliance should be the future of our region, Baghdassaryan stated. «Thus it is very important for us to be able to establish good relations with neighboring states, as the South Caucasus may become a joint economic zone,» the Armenian Speaker emphasized. He also informed that according to an arrangement with the NATO and the US Congress, an international seminar on fighting terror will be held in Yerevan in 2006.
