Finance Ministry predicts employment growth in ArmeniaMarch 12, 2013 - 16:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ministry of Finance submitted “Strategic long-term development program for 2012-25”, envisaging growth of the number of employed people by 157 thous. by 2025. Job creation is a major focus of the program, along with the development of the human capital, improvement of the social security system and institutional modernization of the control system. It is also planned to increase the number of those employed in the agriculture sector by 50 000 and 101 000 in 2017 and 2021 respectively. Armenian Ministry of Finance plans to achieve the above mentioned rates by creation of jobs in the industry sector, with annual 4.5-6.5% growth to be reported in the construction industry.
