At the meeting, Putin congratulated President Sargsyan on his reelection, also hailing progress in Russian-Armenian political, trade and economic ties. The Armenian leader, in turn, noted progress in military cooperation, specifically reminding about the visit of Russian Defense Minister on Armenian Army Day.
