EU supports the constitutional reforms in Armenia, stated EC President Jose Manuel Barroso during a joint news conference with Armenian President Robert Kocharian in Brussels yesterday. «I would like to address a peculiar wish to the Armenian people and state the importance of constitutional reforms for the future of Armenia itself, as well as within the context of strengthening relations with the EU,» Barroso stated. In his turn, R. Kocharian remarked that in the course of his visit to European structures all his interlocutors had stressed the importance of the constitutional reforms. «Much indeed depends on the referendum scheduled for November 27,» the Armenian leader added, reported Mediamax.
