Expert: authorities won’t compromise over Hovannisian suggestions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s authorities won’t compromise over Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian suggestions as they want a “bigger piece of cake,” a political analyst said.

As Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference, the authorities will take their time trying to solve current situation.

“No serious opposition force has been formed before the elections, though Hovannisian did a good job during the presidential race. It was clear from the onset who’ll be giving him votes,” the expert said.

“It’s uneasy to coordinate the whole opposition. Hovannisian is unable to influence the situation. Similarly, it’s impossible to make everyone accept results of the elections,” the expert said.

“One cannot use a hunger strike to create a serious political force,” Iskansdaryan concluded.
