On the initiative of the EU Institute for South Caucasian Issues 2-day hearings on Nagorno Karabakh will start in Berlin today. The Nagorno Karabakh Republic will be represented by Parliament Vice Speaker Ashot Gulian. Press Secretary of the Karabakh parliament Eduard Atanesyan refuted the information spread by Zerkalo Azeri daily that "heads of the Armenian and Azeri communities of Nagorno Karabakh Arkady Ghukasian and Nizami Bagmanov have been invited to take part in the hearings." In Atanesyan's words, the invitation was addressed to Vice Speaker Gulian. To note, Zerkalo wrote that one of the issues included in the agenda will be the restoration of communication via Aghdam-Stepanakert-Shushi-Goris-Nakhidjevan motorway, RFE/RL reported.
