Infighting or foiled attacks behind Azeri soldiers’ deaths?

PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s already the second day Azerbaijani media publish reports about soldiers wounded and killed in the alleged “ceasefire violations by Armenia.” Two Azeri soldiers were reported wounded today, on March 27, another killed yesterday, March 26. Moreover, head of the Azeri defense ministry press service, Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu said, “tense ceasefire violations were reported on March 25-26. Azerbaijani troops foiled Armenian army’s attacks. Both sides suffered losses. The enemy surrendered in the face of the losses.” In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenian defense ministry noted Azeri reports on the skirmish at the line of contact as false.

“That’s mere disinformation. Armenia hasn’t violated the ceasefire regime. Our troops have suffered no losses,” ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.

March 27 reports are nothing but continuation of yesterday’s falsification, with Armenian side having reported about no soldiers killed or wounded in the recent days.

But what a plague attacked Azerbaijani soldiers? No secret, Azeris attempt to lump the blame for victims in internal army shoot-out onto the Armenian side, suddenly publishing reports about soldiers wounded or killed in “intensive ceasefire violations by Armenia”. However, the killings later turn out nothing, but suicides, or even worse, deaths caused by scandals with respect to the sale of Azeri soldier’s body parts.

According to another option, Azeri army forces resolved to perpetrate yet another attack; however, they failed and are now trying to cover their tracks. No surprise! Baku periodically resorts to such measures, shifting the blame on the Armenian side to maintain the “morale.”

The situation at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops was reported as tense some 15 days ago, with the dead bodies possibly pulled out of the Azerbaijani refrigerators only now, according to another option.

Sooner or later, the true reasons behind Azeri soldiers’ deaths will be unveiled, with attacks by Armenian army ruled out.
