PanARMENIAN.Net Article Second at Contest on Best Article in Armenia-Russia Relations
The article of PanARMENIAN.Net Analytic Department, head of Shant TV Company Information Service Artem Yerkanyan titled Armenians in Kuban Divided into Own and Alien occupied the second place at the contest of journalists for best article on the topic of the Armenian-Russian relations, organized by the South Caucasian branch of the Caucasus Democracy Institute. The top five will leave for Moscow, while following five got money awards. Armenpress reporter in Lori region Vahagn Antonyan was the best. The top five also included Golos Armenii political correspondent Ruben Margaryan, Arminfo information agency reporter Tatevik Shahunyan, Azg daily political correspondent Tatul Hakobyan. The jury included the Delovoy Express newspaper Eduard Naghdalyan, the Yerkir newspaper editor-in-chief Spartak Seyranyan, deputy editor-in-chief of the Golos Armenii newspaper Levon Ghazaryan, Arminfo agency editor Aleksandr Avanesov and chief editor of IA Regnum Transcaucasian branch Vigen Hakobyan. In the words of Director General of the South Caucasian branch of the Caucasus Democracy Institute Development Foundation Armenika Kiviryan, the program of visit to Moscow includes meetings with the Russian President's Administration, in the State Duma, as well as prominent Russian political scientists, the Armenian Ambassador to Russia. Familiarization visits to the Izvestiya and the Rossiyskaya Gazeta editor's offices are also planned. It should be reminded that the contest was held September 15 - October 15, 2005.
