Chief of the electoral headquarters of candidate for president of Armenia Aram Karapetian, Armenian parliament deputy Hayk Babukhanian was wounded during a scuffle with a group of slightly tight men at a meeting with the electorate in Artashat city last evening. The victim was taken to Yerevan hospital No.6, where he was operated. In the physicians' words, his life is out of danger. The Armenian leadership, as well as the OSCE observation mission of the Armenian presidential elections have sharply criticized the incident. OSCE mission head Peter Eicher said he was going to investigate the event in detail.
