Henrikh Mkhitaryan: I’m happy to be Shakhtar player, I was misunderstood

PanARMENIAN.Net - A few days ago media reported on the meeting between Henrikh Mkhitaryan and students of the Armenian State University of Economics. In particular, he was quoted by some publications as saying that he allegedly “will do everything this summer to join one of the strongest clubs in the world.”

After Henrikh’s return from international duty the press office reporter asked him to comment on the above information, Shakhtar official website reported.

“I am the Shakhtar player and very happy about it,” Mkhitaryan said. “I have a contract with this club until 2015. It was an ordinary meeting – communication with students. They asked me questions, sometimes in a joking manner, and I answered them. I was misunderstood and my words were misinterpreted.”
