Parliament break-in culprit taken to psychiatric hospital![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian citizen Vrezh Galstyan, who attempted to enter the parliament building armed with a knife, has been taken to Nubarashen psychiatric hospital, special investigation service told PanARMENIAN.Net On March 22, Galstyan, armed with a knife, made an attempt to enter the parliament building. The security officers warned him against entering; however he continued his way forcing the police to open fire. As a result, Galstyan was wounded when trying to escape. Parliament health service employee was the first to offer him medical assistance. Galstyan was later taken to Yerevan’s N 1 hospital. On March 25, the court ruled for a preliminary 2-month detention, with Galstyan to be taken to Nubarashen jail. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
