Sony Xperia Tablet Z release pushed backApril 1, 2013 - 16:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Sony's Xperia Tablet Z has had its release delayed by one month to the middle of May, Digital Spy said. The Android device, which is now available to pre-order online, was original slated to arrive in mid-April. The tablet has a 10.1-inch HD display (1920x1200) with high brightness and high definition video WUXGA technology, along with Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine 2 for boosting the image content and contrasts. Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Xperia Z tablet is powered by a 1.5Ghz quad-core processor and has an 8.1 million pixel camera on the rear, equipped with a CMOS sensor Exmor R for the first time in a Sony tablet. Sony says that the camera performs better in low-light conditions, and automatically adjusts to the optimal settings. Like Sony's flagship Xperia Z smartphone, the tablet is both dust-proof and water-resistant, making it immune to "accidental spills and splashes". The electronics giant did not confirm why the product's release was pushed back. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
