Seth Rogen's "This Is the End" comedy trailer pokes fun at viewers

Seth Rogen's directorial debut "This Is the End" hits theaters this summer and the latest trailer leads viewers to believe that a sequel to "Pineapple Express" will also be hitting theaters, TheWrap said.

However, fans of the 2008 Judd Apatow-produced comedy will be quickly disappointed to realize that buddies Rogen, James Franco and Danny McBride are just taking advantage of April Fool's Day to market their latest collaboration by leading with a fake trailer for a previous collaboration.

Still, it's hard not to appreciate the joke, which is both creative viral marketing and a pleasant reminder that not all movies need sequels.
