"Game of Thrones" hits new ratings record with Season 3 premiere

PanARMENIAN.Net - HBO's "Game of Thrones" hit a new high with its Season 3 premiere Sunday, March 31 night, drawing 4.4 million total viewers with its 9 p.m. airing, TheWrap said.

That's slightly over the previous record set by the series with its Season 2 finale, which drew 4.2 million total viewers. And it's a 13 percent improvement over the last season premiere for the series, which drew 3.9 million total viewers.

Over three airing on Sunday night, the "Game of Thrones" season premiere drew 6.7 million total viewers -- a slight improvement over last season's premiere, which amassed 6.3 million total viewers over multiple airings.
