The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White has confirmed on Twitter that Gegard Mousasi would meet Ilir Latifi, a training parner of the injured Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of UFC Sweden this Sunday morning, MMAKanvas sad.

Latifi, a 29 year old Swedish light heavyweight sports a 7-2 record and currently rides a three bout winning streak, most recently edging WEC veteran Jorge Oliveira last year.

Reports indicate that this fight will remain as the main event of the UFC's second event inside Sweden's Ericsson Globe Arena but it will only be a three round affair, instead of the five rounds as originally slated.
