Penn Badgley stars as musician Jeff Buckley in the Daniel Algrant-directed drama, which premiered at the Toronto Film Fest. The pic follows Buckley on the eve of the public singing debut that would launch his career as he comes to terms with the legacy of his late father, folk singer Tim Buckley. Imogen Poots co-stars. Tribeca Film and Focus World open the pic in New York and LA on May 3.
