October 28 a meeting marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Armenia's Consulate General in Los Angeles was organized in Pasadena by California community organizations and the United Body including traditional parties and churches, reported the Armenian MFA. 450 guests were present at the event. Congratulatory messages from Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Ambassador to the US Tatul Margaryan were presented during the meeting. Consul General Gagik Kirakosyan and heads of various structures also made statements. Among honorary guests were famous composer Constantine Orbelyan, writer and publicist Stepan Alajajyanand famous musician Jivan Gasparyan. A cultural program was also presented during the event.
