NATO Assistant Secretary General hails cooperation with Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met on April 8 with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Ambassador Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, currently in Yerevan to attend Sargsyan inauguration ceremony, due April 9. Armenia-NATO cooperation was in the focus of the discussion, with President Sargsyan noting public diplomacy as an important field in bilateral relations.

Ambassador Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, in turn, conveyed NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s greetings to President Sargsyan, expressing gratitude for Armenia’s involvement in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo. She further highly assessed NATO-Armenia cooperation in the framework of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
