Hovannisian’s April 9 protest action ends in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - After the permission to march down Baghramyan avenue, Heritage party leader, former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian’s supporters started chanting “Free, independent Armenia,” with police chief Vladimir Gasparyan, however, urging them to stop the noise.

The protesters later started singing the national anthem when passing by the presidential residence, with some of them resolving to return to Liberty Square. Hovannisian’s next rally is due on Friday, April 12, 6 pm, local time.
