Armenia’s Gabriel Sargissian beat Kazakhstan’s Rinat Jumabayev in the 4th round of 15th Dubai Open Chess Championship Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup.

Sargissian scored 4 points to lead the tournament. Meanwhile, Vladimir Akopian tied a game against Russia’s Vladimir Burmakin to come 5th with 3,5 points.

Tigran L. Petrosian scored a win against Ziaur Rahman (Bangladesh) to come 10th with 3.5 points. Hovik Hayrapetyan beat India’s Kumar Praveen, Lilit Galoyan and Mark Basenchyan lost to Slovakia’s Peter Michalik and India’s Dronavalli Harika respectively.
