Russian Military Equipment in Armenia Gives no Rest to Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia helps Armenia in every way possible, thus trying to keep the countries of the region under its influence, stated Azeri Defense Ministry Spokesperson Ramiz Melikov. «16 Acacia self-propelled mountings transported from Georgia to Armenia in April were situated near the border with Azerbaijan in Ghazakh region direction. Azerbaijan possesses the necessary number of facts,» R. Melikov stated. «Part of the military equipment stationed in Armenia is situated near the border with Azerbaijan. No one can guarantee this materiel will not be used again Azerbaijan tomorrow,» he remarked when commenting of Russian Defense Ministry Spokesperson, colonel Nikolay Baranov's statement.



«Russian military equipment, moved from Georgia to Armenia cannot cause destabilization of Armenian-Azeri relations,» N. Baranov stated in Yerevan November 10.
