The New York Times Presented Nagorno Karabakh as Part of Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - November 7 The New York Times published an article on the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan. The article was accompanied by a detailed map of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The territory of Azerbaijan was painted white, while that of Armenia was gray. It is interesting that the territory of Nagorno Karabakh being painted gray as well. Moreover, the words "Nagorno Karabakh (Armenia) where written in capital letters on the Karabakh territory. The fact caused indignation of Azeri representatives and US Azeri lobby, followed by a short message published by The New York Times in an ad notam section on November 11. It said, "The map on the Nagorno Karabakh region published along with an article on the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan in The New York Times Monday edition was not correct.
