Over 30 lots by Fabergé highlight of upcoming Christie’s sale

Fabergé Distinguished Midwest Private Collection is the highlight of upcoming Christie’s sale of Russian Works of Art. Over 30 lots by Fabergé, as well as Imperial porcelain table services and silver will attract many American collectors on April 15 in New York, nydesignagenda.com reported.

Additional Fabergé highlights include An Important Silver-Mounted Porcelain Imperial Presentation Vase from a New York Collector, once listed in the ledgers of the Imperial Cabinet, as well as An Important Silver and Guilloché Enamel Presentation Clock initially gifted to George Nikolaevich de Beauharnais, Duke of Leuchtenberg, an officer of the Horse Guard Regiment.

Other highlights include an impressive section of cloisonné enamel from a Private Arizona Collection; Imperial porcelain from the late 18th Century services of the Order of St. Vladimir and the Order of St. Andrew from a Distinguished Midwest Private Collection; a Gold and Enamel Collar of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called from a Private Collector; as well as a wide selection of 19th century bronzes after Evgenii Lanceray and early 20th century bronzes by Prince Paul Troubetzkoy.
