DISPUTE OVER ARMENIAN GENOCIDE HELD IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT
A dispute over the stand of the Foreign Office of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the issue of the Armenian Genocide in 1915-23 took place in the House of Lords of the British parliament. As reported by "Arminfo" agency referring to British sources, Baroness Caroline Cox's initiative to hold the discussion was supported by the British-Armenian parliamentary group. During the discourse historians, political scientists and parliament members discussed the fact of denying the Armenian Genocide by the Foreign Office. Let us note that this historical fact has already been recognized by the National Assembly of Wales and the British Home Office.
