RA President's Formal Visit to Slovenia Starting Today

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian is departing for Slovenia on formal visit. As earlier RA leader's press center told PanARMENIAN.Net the Armenian delegation includes the Ministers of Justice and Agriculture, Chairman of the Customs Committee at the RA government, RA Ambassador to Slovenia and other officials. The visit is targeted at strengthening ties between the two states and outlining the priority directions and tasks of the Armenian-Slovenian economic cooperation. The Armenian President is scheduled to meet with Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek, Prime Minister Janez Jansa and parliament Speaker Franc Cukjati. Robert Kocharian will also meet with OSCE Chairman-in-Office Dimitrij Rupel and chairperson of the Liberal Democratic Party Jelko Kacin. Besides, the Armenian-Slovenian talks in expanded composition will be held. The discussions will focus on the prospects of cooperation between the two countries. The delegation led by the Armenian President is also expected to visit Ljubljana and Piran and meet with Mayors Danica Simsic and Vojka Stular. November 23 the Armenian delegation will return to Yerevan.
