Shakhtar’s Armenian midfielder has shared his expectations of the Ukrainian Cup the quarterfinals match April 17.

“Karpaty have big hopes regarding the Ukrainian Cup. They have reached the latter stages; they have come close to making it to the final of the competition. But let's not forget that we also want to do the ‘golden double’ by winning both domestic trophies this season, so we will do everything to win on Wednesday. We respect the opponents, but we are not afraid of anyone and won’t spare ourselves,” Shakhtar official website citied Henrikh Mkhitaryan as saying.

The midfielder said Shakhtar has no intention of relaxing after a win over Zorya. “The Ukrainian Cup is a different tournament. We understand that the slightest mistake can cost us dearly; in this regard everything is different here compared to the league. I hope that everything will be fine, but we need to be very concentrated. It will be a difficult match-up with Karpaty, but we will do everything to win it.”
