MP says Europe aware of Armenia’s domestic situation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has a lot to accomplish during its 6-month chairmanship of Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, Heritage party’s parliamentary group secretary said.

“Europe is aware of Armenia’s internal situation. Armenia is a state built on ruins of the Soviet Union,” Zaruhi Postanjyan said.

“We must rely on our own forces to build a democratic system,” she said, hailing Armenia’s efforts to raise its problems in international organizations.

Dwelling on the spring session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), held on April 22-26, the MP said, “I disagreed with PACE observer mission’s report, saying the elections were rigged.”
