The regular meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) Foreign Ministers started in Brussels December 8. Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian also participated in the meeting, RA MFAS press office reported. NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer presented the EAPCdevelopments that followed the NATO Istanbul Summit. The Ministers also discussed the role of partnership with the Euro-Atlantic cooperation and touched upon the issues referring to Kosovo and Afghanistan noting the positive developments after the parliamentary election in Afghanistan. The Foreign Minister welcomed the initiative of the UN Secretary General to open negotiations on Kosovo's status.
