Czechia to Establish Representative Office in Armenia
Czech Minister of Interior Frantisek Bublan stated that in the near future Czechia will establish representative offices in Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine to prevent illegal emigration from these countries. "The purpose of the offices is to familiarize the people with the conditions for legal migration in the country," the Minister said. Czech press reports that the Interior Ministry intends to fundamentally change attitude to the illegal immigrants, who sometimes fall prey to trafficking. Besides, the Ministry is going to open employment agencies at the Czech Embassies. To note, presently there is no Czech diplomatic representation in Armenia, the residence of the Czech Ambassador to RA is located in Tbilisi, reported RFE/RL.
