New Finnish envoy presents credentials to Armenian President

Newly appointed Finnish ambassador to Armenia Christer Michelsson (residence in Helsinki) presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

President Sargsyan congratulated the envoy on the appointment, voicing hope that he will contribute to the strengthening of Armenian-Finnish relations.

Trade and economic relations, prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of education and culture were further discussed, with ambassador Michelsson briefing President Sargsyan on the economic priorities of his country.

The two men further dwelt on regional issues and Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, presidential press service reported.
